Large-diameter meltblown polypropylene fibers are randomly assembled to create a lofty mat that quickly absorbs high volumes of liquid. Ultrasonic bond points fuse layers of fiber together so pads keep their shape even when saturated. Oil-only polypropylene fibers are left in a natural hydrophobic state that repels water and float while only absorbing oils and other hydrocarbons. Perforated every 7 1/2". Helps compliance with 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2), 29 CFR 1910.107(b)(3), 29 CFR 1910.107(g)(2), 29 CFR 1910.120(j)(1), 29 CFR 1910.1450(e). (SpillTech)
