Large-diameter meltblown polypropylene fibers are randomly assembled to create a lofty mat that quickly absorbs high volumes of liquid. Ultrasonic bond points fuse layers of fiber together so pads keep their shape even when saturated. Oil-only polypropylene fibers are left in a natural hydrophobic state that repels water and float while only absorbing oils and other hydrocarbons. Perforated every 7 1/2".
